Eight players added to Kansas Shrine Bowl roster

The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the addition of eight new players to the 2026 rosters to fill open roster spots due to declined invitations. Additions to the West team are Josiah Schmidt, Pratt and Issac Nikolas, Derby. The East team has added six players to their 2026 roster; Blake Jay, Mill Valley; Luke Orrick, Blue Valley Southwest; Mason Barth, Shawnee Mission Northwest; Dallas Kayhill, Saint Thomas Aquinas; Parker Pinamonti, Pittsburg; and Leeland Barth, Olathe North. The full updated rosters for the 53rd Kansas Shrine Bowl can be found at www.KansasShrineBowl.com/roster. The 53rd Kansas Shrine Bowl will be played on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Welch Stadium on the campus of Emporia State University.

Replacement players are selected by the Kansas Shrine Bowl coaching staff from the pool of nominated players when a roster spot becomes available due to a previously invited player declining his invitation or opting out of participating due to injury or any other circumstance.
